While working on a painfully ambiguous assignment about the social impacts of literature and poetry, I developed the idea to abandon the essay I'd been struggling to write for a more visual representation of the impacts of representation in both word and deed. This interactive project came as a result of a decision to master new skills in InDesign and create content that would actually engage the audience I was creating for, a classroom of skeptical college kids with short attention spans.
